Chesney's Story

I have wanted boobs all of my life. I knew long ago that I would probably never have them naturally. I found this site, in my quest for information on BA's. Let me start my saying this the best breast augmentation support site ever!

I have had the fortune of knowing someone all of my life that has had implants, my mom and my aunt. I have seen the good and the bad side of silicone. My mom has had her implants for 31 years, and never experienced any problems at all! On the other hand, my aunt has had 3 sets of implants. Her originals were silicone, and ruptured, giving her all of the weird health problems that seemed to go along with silicone implant ruptures of the time. Since then she has had success with saline implants. Just a little of my background.

I had the misfortune of inheriting small boobs too, though. At 33 years old, I finally made the decision to go ahead and get implants, and was finally able to afford them too. My grandmother had left me some DOW stock, and I decided to sell it to pay for my implants; a birthday present to myself (my BA was scheduled a week after my 34th birthday!). I find this to be somewhat ironic- as I mentioned, it was DOW stock, you know, part of this company was ruined, due to all of those silicone implants rupture lawsuits of the '80's.

This also takes a funny turn. Because when I went to sell the stock at the end of October, silicone was back in the headlines. I did get a good selling rate, but had I waited a week or so, I could have made a few hundred more, since the stock seemed to go up (of course after I had sold it!), I think due to the talk of silicone at the time. Coincidental? Oh well. The end result is that I finally have the boobs I have always wanted!!

I had my surgery a little over a week ago, and have never and will never regret it! Of course, I have had my fair share of pain. Of course, I had to get sick off of the painkillers! But the end result seems beautiful to me! Even though they are still swollen, I can tell they will be exactly what I wanted, in the end. I pray that my recovery goes smooth from here on out. I pray that I drop and fluff evenly, and that my scars do fade eventually.

I do know that I will have the support of my “boobie sisters”, here on this site for whatever comes my way. I plan to stay active here on this site, so that I may join and help the newer girls with their questions, with my experiences. I knew that I wanted boobs, but never realized how much information there was to know about the whole process. I am a much more informed person now, and have met a great bunch of people in the process. Thanks for letting me be a part of this great place.
