Mae's Story

I've never had breasts.
Nothing at all. I have always been interested in having a breast augmentation,
but I was really scared of all of the "what-ifs." Throughout college I always
wished I could wear the tube tops all of my friends wore during summer or the
nice triangle top bikini's. I was very self-conscious about my breasts and truly
unhappy with my appearance
After I graduated from college,
I began to seriously think about getting a BA. I decided to see a plastic surgeon
to learn more about the procedure and if it was something I wanted to do. I found
a wonderful PS in my hometown and I felt extremely comfortable with him. He was
very experienced and showed me pictures of his work. I decided right there and
then to go for it! I booked my surgery and left the office elated! I couldn't
believe that I was finally doing it!
After a few days, reality
hit.... I was going to have surgery! I felt a rush of emotion; I was scared, nervous,
anxious.... everything all at once. I didn't know what to do or who to turn to...
I feel sooooo very fortunate to have found the BI411 site! There is such wonderful
information here that was very helpful to me the months before my surgery. I researched
on the size and kind of implant I wanted, I looked at before and after photos,
but most importantly, I found the BI411 forum! The forum was truly a lifesaver!
I was able to ask questions and speak to ladies that had done what I was about
to endure.
Time flew by, and before
I knew it, it was the BIG day! I arrived at the doctor's office, a bit nervous,
but ready for what was about to come. I don't remember much of the surgery day
because I was pretty much out of it, but I know that I was very happy! It's been
6 months since my operation and the only thing I regret is not doing this sooner.
I feel so much better about myself and I actually look forward to tank top season!
