I had thought for years about having BA. I researched all kinds of web sites, read all kinds of books, spoke to many women who went through it. By going to the Breastimplants411 site I found a lot of what I was looking for. The information and guidance I got from the site helped me take that big step toward getting my BA.

I went to see Dr. Alexander, after researching and narrowing my choices, and I spent the better part of an hour asking him questions. He was so relaxed and up front and honest. He didn't mind me asking questions. In fact, he encouraged his patients to ask them. When it came time to decide which size I would be going to, I left that up to him. I told him that I had felt inadequate as a woman for many, many years and just wanted to feel proportioned! I put it in his hands from this point on.

He tried several different sizes on me and decided that a woman of my stature needed at least a 480cc implant. I thought it was huge, but I trusted in Dr. Alexander and set up the surgery date. After all the pre-op testing I set everything into motion. I notified my job that I would be out for 2 weeks and that I would be back but on light duty. I also made arrangements to have the house taken care of, as I would not be allowed to do anything for at least a month.

The day finally arrived and I went to the surgery center. From the time I set foot in the place I felt as though I was doing the right thing. I was not scared, I was not nervous either. Dr. Alexander came to see me before the surgery and told me what he was going to do.

The next thing I know I am waking up that evening, AT HOME! I had slept all that time, from 9:30am to 9:30pm. Anesthesia has always knocked me out pretty good anyway. I followed the doctor’s orders. I took the medications he prescribed faithfully. I did everything by the book. If Dr. Alexander told me to do it, you can bet I did it.

The day after surgery I went in for my first post-op appointment. I saw my new breasts for the first time. They were simply GORGEOUS!!! Unbelievable! He did a superb job. I was so afraid of having my chest look like I had been hit with 2 softballs. (You don't know what things I thought about before making a final decision!!) Well, let me just say that no one even noticed that I had a BA done. I am well proportioned for my size. Yet, I had 2 and a half more cups added to my body. They are the best things I ever did for myself.

I feel more complete as a woman. I feel I can wear clothing that is a little more revealing now because I am built to fit into it. I even feel sexier! You can ask my husband about that! :)

I would highly recommend to anyone wanting BA to do your research and get the finest surgeon you can afford. You get what you pay for. I lucked out and got THE best plastic surgeon in town! To look at me today, after 6 weeks of recovery, you cannot tell that I had it done. I look natural. I owe my new life to my doctor.......Dr. George Alexander.
