Holly’s Story

I have been a bean-pole
all my life. I grew up on a farm and had a very rough upbringing. When I graduated
high school, I joined the service because home was where I didn't want to be.
I met my first husband there and that's when I found how evil one person could
be.
He would belittle me, hurt
me, and even had his family join in on the verbal abuse. After 3 kids and a lot
of broken bones, I left and started over with nothing. I lived life out of a shelter
for a little while but my girls and I survived.
When we finally got on our
feet, I met my present husband. In Wal-mart of all places, he approached my friend
that I was with and asked who I was. I flippantly said, "Sure, come by and visit."
thinking that he never would. Well, I was wrong.
One year into our relationship,
he asked if there was anything he could give to just me that would make me happy.
I've always placed my kids’ best interests first, so after throwing out tons of
ideas that all related to the kids he said, "No, just for you."
I said, "Well, I've always
wanted breast augmentation." He said “Are you sure? I think you are perfect.”
(Good answer.) I told him that this had always felt like a flaw to me and I would
love to finally fit adult clothes instead of kids clothes.
He said, “Then it's settled.”
We found a nearby surgeon. The surgery was a complete success and I had no pain
what so ever! I have absolutely no regrets and he's very happy, so that makes
me happy too!
