I guess I will begin by introducing myself and I also hope to get the 25 replies I need so I can be reassured by looking at some of the post-op boobies in the ba galleries!
I am exactly one week post-op today and already love them, somewhat... I got 304cc silicone unders, crease incision, was 34a before and now hopefully full B, small C. I've read here that it's way too early to worry about one looking more square, higher, lower, lopsided, nipple pointing down, etc.. but still, I'm worrying, lol. I'm hoping that seeing some pics in the ba galleries will set my mind at ease! I'm also itching like a mad woman to get back into my workout/running routine! So I will be needing some FIRM reminders to WAIT! After doing some reading here I feel like I might have been doing too much too soon already??
a little about me... happily married, 4 kiddos, all breastfed for more than a year each and don't regret it one single bit.
Thanks for all your wonderful responses to previous posts/members - it's all been so helpful already. |

| Hi and welcome! Do take it very easy in the beginning. Your body needs to rest and heal. You have to remember each breast is a different surgery and may heal at different rates. It can take quite a while before the implants settle in and look more natural. |

Welcome Girlie! This place is awesome and the girls are all very helpful, I can't answer your questions from experience yet, but everything you are experiencing sounds pretty normal to me.
I thought I would let you know that you have to do 25 posts before you are accepted to the BA Gallery, not get 25 replies Hope that helps |

Welcome to the forum - you've found a great place for support, advice - you name it.
Since you asked for it, here is your firm reminder not to exercise (or do anything else you're not supposed to) too early:
DON'T EVEN FREAKIN' THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!
Seriously, if you're already concerned about how your new boobs are healing, you'll want to be even more careful than normal, since what you do (or don't do) now can definitely affect your long-term recovery/results. I'm a distance runner and workout junkie myself - as are many of the women here on the forum. We know from personal experience how hard it is to take the required break from running/exercise - but you HAVE to suck it up and just do it. We all survived, and so will you.
As for the various new-boob-weirdness you described, it sounds totally normal. Remember you had two separate surgeries (one on each boob), and you'll have two separate recoveries. Hang in there, follow ALL your post-op instructions to the letter, and just let time and your body's healing power work their magic.
Again, welcome to the forum! |

Oh ok, 25 posts! Is that new topics posted by me or responses to other posts? And yes, thank you for the reminder in all caps! I will survive!
What I worry about though in following my post-op instructions from PS is that there doesn't seem to be nearly as many as I am reading here from some of your Dr.s?? |

The 25 posts includes replies to other posts (but try to resist the urge to just reply randomly to all the old posts, which does sometimes happen!). The 25 posts also includes the OT side ("Off Topic"), which is the other forum here, where we talk about everything and anything, so go introduce yourself on that side and check it out as well.
Regarding post-op instructions, every PS has different recommendations (and some a lot more than others), so just do whatever your PS told you to do (and not do). When in doubt, give your PS's office a call and ask - that's what they're there for. And, of course, you can always ask here too. |

| Congrats! I'm a newbie too with my first consults on Monday (weather permitting)and looking towards moving from a 34A to a full B/small C as well. This certainly is a good place to get advice from what I've been reading. |

Congrats! We have the same implants!
You definitely need to be patient and not get worried about all the changes along the way. I think I dealt with it all in the first six months: square boobs, uneven boobs, Mondor's cord, one looking bigger than the other, etc, etc.
If you go over to the off-topic side I am sure you'll find alot of posts you can reply to to get your 25 posts!

Thank you armygrrl for the links to the other pics that is reassuring! And Alexis I only hope mine look as great as yours! Wow, beautiful, everyone of you, lol.
Kbinsd, good luck with your consult. Initially I was looking at the 240-270 range and already I'm glad my ps decided on 300. But, I'm pretty broad through the shoulders, guess I should measure my rib cage and provide those stats... however, I'm thinking now that a full B probably is not in the works for me, it's early I know but I'm thinking it will be more, just not sure how much more... which I am ok with. |
