After more than a month of research and consults, I finally think I found my PS, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger! I still have some remaining questions for him regarding what I'd like aesthetically. Hopefully, he is talented enough to deliver. But what is holding me back the most is the potential for an unexpected revision. Not to mention that I have ever been under before and it makes me very anxious. I wish I was more excited than anxious. Do you think that's a sign?

Hey Utah - Did you see the emotional chart that wsa posted a week or so ago? It might be helpful.
I finally called yesterday to schedule in December and am waiting for confirmation everything is a go. I'm just now starting to get excited (after 6 months) and that's only because I just had a good friend of mine go through the experience and come out on the other side(2 weeks) happy with her results. It's one thing to have a group of women online to experience through, it's another to see it first hand.
The irony is that she didn't do hardly any research on her own, she researched vicariously through me....

Sherri,

You do look better after the redo. Why did you have it done and why the decision to go bigger? One of the things I am worried about it that it seems like most people are getting redos. Your pic's look great btw!

Peanut,

I didn't see that chart. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll see if I can find it.

I'm glad I didn't chicken out.
But certainly don't do it if you don't want to.

I had the same worries. First I accepted the possibility of revision surgery. I decided it just wasn't such a horrific thing. Even now I am wishing for a redo. My recovery wasn't too bad, better than I expected, and I would do it again. My perspective changed, I guess.

General anesthesia is WONDERFUL. After tolerating enough oral surgery with only local, I found that I adore general. You don't even know you're falling asleep, you wake up, and it's over.

What really made me stick with the decision was my last really bad swimsuit season. I have 36" hips and broad shoulders, and I was miserable finding a swimsuit I didn't look like a reject of nature in. I really like swimsuits now My body looks the way I think it is supposed to look. I feel like a woman, I even feel sexy. It was worth it. Everyone gets nervous before. Good luck with your choice.

I think we all go through the anxiety at one point or another.
Who is your PS? (I'm assuming you are in Utah! I am too)

Your from Utah too? There are a lot of Utahns getting boob jobs these days! Your about the fifth or sixth I have met on an BA forum.

I have been on 10 consults (its getting old) I have pretty much selected Dr. Warnock, but I am going to see Bradd Christensen on Monday.

Who is your PS?

Hope you can get over your jitters, but it is, of course, up to you. You need to be very comfortable with this decision. I was pretty apprehensive too, but I can tell you that I am already beyond thrilled with my new boobies and they're only two days old.

It's an emotional roller coaster, and not every part of it is fun. Good luck with your process.

Wow 10 consults, you're a trooper. There are several women here that have gone to Dr Warnock. I've heard good things about him. I went to Dr Crofts in Lindon. Good luck!

Yay for Dr. Warnock. You will do fine, but trust me, TAKE A VALIUM the night before. OOH Dr. Warnocks poor staff. I was a sobbing idiot before my surgery and they were soooo nice and caring, even Dr. Warnock reassured me. Secondly this is a BA Forum, most women come here because stuff is wrong, so the majority have redos.... Unlike me who just comes here because its where my friends are

I was more nervous the first time i went to see my PS. After that i was so excited. For me everything went fast so i think that really helped. I called and happened to get an appt like a week later. I already knew i was using my PS because a friend used him and loved him. They had a cancellation for 3 weeks later so i booked my BA for that day. I don't think i really had time to get nervous. All i can say is it was 1 of the best thing i ever did. GL to you.
