Biography:

Dr. Ambe was brought up in a family of scientists and musicians, both of which ultimately served to shape his professional career.

With all five of his family members being musicians, Dr. Ambe was exposed to the piano at a very early age, and he ultimately went on to become an accomplished concert pianist in his teenage years. Interestingly, as all family members were doctors as well, when it came time for Dr. Ambe to choose a vocation, he ultimately made the choice of pursuing a career in medicine instead of music.

With this background strongly influenced by both science and music, Dr. Ambe was drawn towards a field in Medicine which allowed for a blend of creativity and artistry--Plastic Surgery. Dr. Ambe completed his undergraduate education, medical school, and seven years of intensive surgical training. After completing his Plastic Surgery surgical training at U.C.I., Dr. Ambe followed through with additional fellowship training in aesthetic breast, facial, and body contouring surgery.

He has had his own solo private practice in Plastic Surgery in our area for over seven years, and he has gained the reputation of being one of the top plastic surgeons in the community in a relatively short period of time. With his artistic background, his reputation for operating with meticulous attention to detail has gained widespread attention. He is known for expertise in all aspects of cosmetic breast, cosmetic facial, and cosmetic body contouring surgery.

Dr. Ambe is Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, our states Society of Plastic Surgeons, and our County's Society of Plastic Surgeons. Additionally, he has been an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at U.C. I. since 1995, assisting in the teaching of plastic surgeons in training.

Cheryl Lewis, Patient Coordinator
Cheryl has worked with Dr. Ambe since 2002. She has over 15 years of experience in the field of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery as a Patient Coordinator.

Jennifer A. Faggionato, Certified Physician Assistant
A licensed health care professional who practices medicine in partnership with Milind K. Ambe, M.D. Jennifer has years of experience and knowledge in both clinical and cosmetic dermatology.

Tamme L. Eroh, Licensed Medical Esthetician
Tamme's specialties include microdermabrasion, "lunch- time" peels, post-operative skin care education, overall facial rejuvenation, and dermaplaning. She was featured on NBC's television show The Other Half performing dermaplaning.

Jennifer Kurilich-Garcia, Licensed Medical Esthetican
Jennifer focuses on acne treatments, anti-aging and hyper-pigmentation treatments using microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and rejuvenating facials.
