Spring
Fashion to Flatter the New You
by Amanda Miron
Everywhere there is a buzz
in the air. While we have a few more months left in winter, spring is not far
away. Designers have long since finished their collections, and they are finally
available to us in the stores for the spring season. Their offerings are flowery,
soft and very retro. For those of us who have a wonderful new bust line to show
off, there are plenty of fabulous new designs to flatter.
Blouses are a veritable
treat this spring. With glorious touches of exquisite lace, airy and ever so sheer
fabrics, combined with sophisticated, subtle detail - this mind-dizzying season
of spring offers alluring and feminine blouses that lean toward the innocent and
the angelic. Flimsy peasant tops with lace-up fronts make their comeback, with
variations of this style including stretchy, off-the-shoulder tops and sheer,
billowing or draping versions of this style. Feeling daring? Go for low-cut versions
or undo a button or a lace or two.
For evening, that breathtaking
crew of blouses looks fabulous when paired with a well-fitted tuxedo pant; or
you can opt for a dressier separate. Any skirt will do - long, short, fitted or
full, they will all complement your look. To further highlight your new curves
either put away your usual button down, trade it for a fitted one made with a
touch of lycra, or reach for the more romantic and select something that is just
a little bit more revealing.
A classy tank is a great
wardrobe option and they come in every fabric - from knit cotton to stretch, denim
to lace and every other fabric under the sun. The variations are endless. There
are the full coverage tanks, cowl-neck tanks, fitted ones, the slightly more daring,
sweetheart or V-necks, and of course the basic tank, just to name just a few.
For the final touch, pair any cool top with a pretty necklace (turquoise is the
new "hot stone" of spring), just long enough to draw attention to your
décolletage. If you want less attention on your tank, pair a pretty blazer
(long or short- think mid-thigh or bolero-length) or a fitted cardigan sweater
with your top.
Dresses are ever so soft
in form and they sing of utter femininity. With chintzy gauze fabrics and blouson
styles that work best with a fuller bust line, these styles are precisely what
you will want to make a good impression. When selecting a dress that will aptly
show off your new figure, select wider, scoop necks, plunging neck lines (V-neck
wraps always flatter and enhance what you have) and if you dare, skimpy, skin
hugging numbers, to show off that gorgeous, new cleavage. Ruffles are "it"
this season, whether they are around the neckline, positioned diagonally or situated
somewhere else on the garment.
There are a number of clever
and creative ways that a full-breasted woman can opt to dress. Jana S. is a schoolteacher
from Kansas. She recently underwent breast enlargement and speaks out about her
new figure. "I was very skeptical about having the procedure, actually, and
now that I am three months along after having the procedure, I wear a gorgeous
size 36 C bra size and I feel terrific! No more the skeptic, I select only the
most breast attention grabbing clothes that I can get my hands on. I love those
very tight fitting, slinky dresses that really accentuate all of my curves."
Those pencil thin styles
will easily do you justice because a clinging style will show your best features
too. You can also be creative in your color selection because the more dramatic
your choice, the more sure you will be of being well noticed. This season bright
or multi-colored, ethnic or tropical prints reign. If you are not a single gal
looking for a host of adoring eyes, you can be sure that your one true love will
revel in your new and flattering styles.
Look for those ultra daring
styles that offer attractive, low plunging backs, which seem to holler "look
at me!" Chances are if someone takes the time to notice your back view, they
may become more intrigued to see the rest too.
Stay away from the ultra-conservative
or what I call the "ordinary", and opt to enjoy the sumptuous clothing
designs made with your figure type in mind. Anything that concentrates design
or ornamentation at your bustline will surely draw the eye in that direction.
Ask at better clothing stores to be directed to clothing that will flatter your
new bust line and to those that will make a definite statement in general.
Marnie K. is a Power Broker
with a large design firm in Texas and boasts breast enlargement surgery. "I
really did not realize how much fun I would have with my new figure," she
exclaims. "I get so many stares now compared to feeling that I was very much
unnoticed. I love to wear the very sheerest, billowy and slinky blouses now. I
wear some of the finest undergarments, imported from France, Sweden and Spain.
I just love all of the silk and satin and make a point of showing lots of cleavage."
With a bit of care and planning
you will be well versed on how to select the clothing that is both fashionable
and trendy while wearing designs that will flatter your new, sensuous curves.
When you do this you will feel more confident and you will certainly notice lots
of new attention and interested eyes darting over in your direction.
